About GCO Studios

GCO Studios is a web design and development consultancy based in Wandsworth, close to central London. My name is Jose Guerra, web designer and web developer for GCO Studios. I started building websites in 1999 and started my first ecommerce site in May of 2000. Since then I have been building websites primarily for myself until late 2008. In August of 2008 I started to do freelance web design for various clients. Over time the work grew and GCO Studios was established.

Since then I have worked for various clients including, the award winning international engineering company, Ramboll. I have worked with a wide variety of source technologies like WordPress, OpenCart, Oscommerce, Zencart and more recently Flatpress and Getsimple. I have a passion for working with WordPress. In addition to these technologies I also have experience using proprietary technologies such as MyShopify and Ning.

Outside of web design and development I have a strong a background in management, IT, electronics and the sciences with a degree in geology.

HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, experience with PHP and Mysql

Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Microsoft Office as well as pen and paper
